What is a Veterinary Criticalist?
A Veterinary Criticalist is a board-certified specialist in veterinary emergency and critical care. Our Criticalists have completed an intensive three-year residency training program certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC).
Criticalists focus on providing intensive, short-term, life-saving care utilizing advanced diagnostics and all avenues of treatment to give an acutely, severely ill patient the best chance of survival.
