Dr. Nelson is an emergency veterinarian with a passion for emergency medicine and surgery. He joined NDVESH after working as an emergency veterinarian in Frisco for the past five years. After completing his undergraduate studies at Southeastern Louisiana University, Dr. Nelson received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University. Upon graduating in 2019, he worked as an emergency veterinarian in Frisco and has also done relief work at various emergency clinics around the metroplex.

When Dr. Nelson isn’t treating his patients, he can be found completing projects around the house, staying active, hanging out with his two labrador retrievers, and traveling with his wife. He loves Cajun food and watching the LSU Tigers. Dr. Nelson is excited to join the team and looks forward to helping you and your pets navigate any emergent situation should one arise.
