Dr. Angelique Volkman is an emergency veterinarian from Southern California who moved to the North Dallas Area in 2017 and joined the NDVESH team in the summer of 2024. 

Dr. Volkman received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine and went on to obtain her Veterinary Degree from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London. After graduation she did a rotating small animal medical and surgical internship at Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles. Since then she has been immersed solely in emergency veterinary medicine. 

Dr. Volkman enjoys the fast paced, unpredictable nature of emergency medicine and the excitement of continual learning. Her favorite part of her profession is helping families and their beloved pets in their time of need and doing her best to gets her patients feeling better and back home. 

Outside of work, she enjoys absolutely anything and everything that revolves around the ocean and spending time with her family of five humans, four dogs, and two cats.
